Chess-- Sponsored by Ms. Amy Baker

Chess is both a skill and a lifelong hobby that helps promote thinking ahead and using strategy.  Students interested in learning and playing chess can come by room 14 on Wednesday afternoons to learn strategy and moves from seasoned players. Practice occurs most Thursdays from 4-6 p.m


Robotics-- Sponsored by Mr.  Ivan Estrada.

The Robotics team deals with a series of challenges at special events sponsored by schools in our district.  Students are divided up into teams to work on particular process skills.  Anyone interested in joining robotics should speak with Mr. Estrada.


Destination Imagination-- Sponsored by Mrs. Kristina Cranick

DI is a program that encourages teams of 2-7 students to have fun, take risks, focus and frame challenges while incorporating STEM, the arts and service learning. Our participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem solving process. Teams showcase their solutions at a regional tournament, if they are successful they attend a state tournament and have the chance to attend Global Finals and compete with students from around the world.   Anyone interested in DI should talk to Mrs. Kranick about meeting times and requirements.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives… one heart at a time. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ.
