Students Activate Harvey Relief Effort
Students Volunteer to Help Harvey Relief

Friday, September 1, 2017

In an effort to foster community awareness in our student body and build on the habits of highly effective teens, the Los Cuates Student Council sponsored a fast-action Hurricane Harvey relief drive.  We sought to understand the needs of the victims of this terrible tragedy and quickly gathered together Items that are in high demand.  Students and staff opened their hearts and gladly gave whatever they could.  It is hoped that these much needed sundries will come to good use during the recovery.

Thank you everyone for your help making this drive a success. This was an example of how students and staff can work together to make things better for those in need. Just as soon as the packages were packed, they were sent out to help the disaster relief efforts in Rockport, Texas.Students work to fill care packages.
Student volunteers enjoy a snack while packing up donated items for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
